Last Will & Living Will Kit

Most people have spoken to a
friend or loved one about there wishes if they ever became
incapacitated. However telling someone is not enough to have
your wishes carried out. The Easy Living Will Kit provides you
with the documents you need to make sure care is provided in the
manner you specify. Our Easy Last Will & Living Will Kit
includes.
A Living Will
A living will is a document outlining very specific
medical instructions that apply while you are still alive, but are
unable to communicate your wishes. Unlike a typical Last Will and
Testament, it really has nothing to do with how you want your
property divided when you die. It simply states that you do, or do
not, want artificial life support if you become either:
1.
terminally ill and will die within a short period of time without
life support, or
2.
In
an irreversible coma or vegetative state.
A living will also allows you to make decisions
regarding whether or not you would like to receive pain medication
and artificial nutrition. In addition, you can indicate special
wishes or instructions. For example, some people may want to
remain on life support for only a certain period of time.
NOTE: Our
Comprehensive Will & Trust Kit also offers Power of Attorney
of Health Care for those that wish to have the added assurance of
having someone they trust to speak for them on health care issues.
Having both documents is a way of making sure your health care
wish will be carried out. See Below.

than a will because you don't have to register it with the courts in
probate. In addition, a living trust allows you to hand over
management of your assets to someone else if you are incapacitated
or otherwise unable to manage your assets yourself.

A Living Will is a document that allows a person to explain in
writing which medical treatment he or she does or does not want
during a terminal illness. A Living Will takes effect only when
the patient is incapacitated and can no longer express his or her
wishes. The will states which medical treatments may be used and
which may not be used to die naturally and without the patient's
